Laila has kindly picked a book that should be totally painless to read over the holidays (well, maybe not emotionally? We'll see): a graphic novel by the Bechdel Test's namesake.
Anyways, we'll meet to discuss on Friday, January 5. Anyone want to picnic/potluck?
Next, Cat picked a real sci-fi, which I think some of us were itching for after Kindred (which was amazing) turned out to be more historical fiction than sci-fi (my bad!).
We'll plan to meet about this book on February 18th, which is President's Day Weekend. So, plenty of time to get ahead: over two months, woo!
