The Cover Detail I'd Never Noticed

I just noticed something about this book cover that may have been obvious to others, but just in case others haven't yet noticed this, I wanted to share.

The Year of Magical Thinking is a memoir of the year following the death of Joan Didion's beloved husband, John. I was absent-mindedly wondering why a few of the letters were black and others blue. So I checked, and they're all black, except for four: JOHN.
